Azodicarbonamide Masterbatch
Azodicarbonamide masterbatch, with the primary active ingredient being azodicarbonamide (ADC), has a chemical formula of C2H4N4O2. It is a white or light yellow powder, non-toxic, odorless, non-flammable, and self-extinguishing.
The azodicarbonamide masterbatch is made by mixing azodicarbonamide with other carriers or additives and then processing it through special techniques into granulated products, making it easy to add and use uniformly in industrial production.
Azodicarbonamide has a high melting point, typically between 220~225°C (decomposes), and a density of about 1.65g/cm³. It is soluble in alkali but insoluble in gasoline, alcohol, benzene, pyridine, and water. When heated or subjected to pressure, azodicarbonamide decomposes to release nitrogen gas, making it an efficient blowing agent.
