Synthesis Methods

Chlorosulfonation Route

Start with diphenyl ether, react with chlorosulfonic acid to produce 4,4'-oxydibenzene sulfonyl chloride, then react with hydrazine hydrate to yield 4,4'-oxydibenzene sulfonyl hydrazide.

Sulfonation and Reaction with Phosphorus Oxychloride

Treat diphenyl ether with concentrated sulfuric acid for sulfonation, react with phosphorus oxychloride to form 4,4'-oxydibenzene sulfonyl chloride, and subsequently react with hydrazine hydrate and aqueous ammonia to produce the target compound.
